First of all, we must know that the world is not based on truth, but if we want to succeed as a people, then we must be ready to create our own truth. We must write and re-write our history to empower the minds of our people, and stop burdening our children with those truths that were created for us solely to disempower us. Frankly speaking, we never really enjoyed what we fought for over 60 years down the line. It is as if we are still stuck in the inception of intellectual stimulation for modern civilization. Reason being we don't have the basic and fundamental principles to move forward to be able to see our potential. The consequence of our failure is evident to everyone, when you cast your eyes across all the Somali regions, we see a similar pattern of public frustration with the status quo, the division of groups into US versus THEM political deadlock as well as a cynical review of intractable problems facing our society. Our name has now synonymously been termed as fractured community. But as I said, "the best is yet to be." However much of the doom and gloom merchants, gloat and curse, our prospect is bright under the sun, and yes, the irony is never lost.
